Mavournee DuBose addresses guests at the Beeville Country Club.
A virtual "who's who" of past and present Skidmore-Tynan I.S.D. administrators, teachers, and students attended the 50th Anniversary of Wayne and Mavournee DuBose at the Beeville Country Club Saturday, June 19th. The DuBoses spent the vast majority of their 50 years together right here in Skidmore educating generation after generation of local youth. Jacque DuBose Kosmin and David DuBose served as hosts for the event and yes indeed, it was a swanky affair! Guests enjoyed a buffet meal, drinks of their choice, cake for dessert, and lots of camaraderie and "catching-up" between old friends and mentors. In lieu of presents, guests were asked to submit written anecdotes for a "Golden Memories" album. Here's wishing Mr. & Mrs. DuBose many more years of golden memories and hearty thanks for their dedicated service to our community.
