The Skidmore-Tynan High School Academic Awards Banquet was held Monday, May 16 at the S-T ISD Events Center. Competition for the honor of being named Valedictorian and Salutatorian came down to the wire as the GPA of the two candidates, Katlynn Mengers and Lindsie O'Neill, varied by a tiny fraction of a grade point. In the end, Katlynn Mengers was named Valedictorian and Lindsie O'Neill was Salutatorian.
