San Patricio Electric Cooperative has awarded a $1,000 scholarship for the 2006-2007 school year to Sara Schirmer of Skidmore-Tynan High School. The scholarships are available to the students whose parents or guardians are active members receiving electric service from San Patricio Electric Cooperative, Inc. Sara’s parents are William and Lori Schirmer of Beeville,Texas. Sara plans to attend The University of Texas in San Antonio and plans to major in Biology with a career in forensics.
