Further Items to be Added to S-T ISD Trustee Agenda

The following items were posted to the bulletin board outside the S-T ISD administrative offices late Friday night or early Saturday morning. They are apparently meant to be included in Monday's S-T ISD Trustee Meeting Agenda.

CLOSED SESSION

• Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the Board shall consult with legal counsel regarding Superintendent's contractual terms of employment with the District and matters related thereto. (Mr. Rick Olivares)
  
• Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the Board shall consult with legal counsel regarding possible FERPA Department of Education complaint and investigation. (Mr. Rick Olivares)

OPEN SESSION

• Board shall take action to authorize legal counsel to negotiate Superintendent's contractual terms of employment with the District as discussed in closed session. (Mr. Rick Olivares)
  
• Board shall take action to authorize legal counsel to proceed with investigation regarding FERPA alleged violation and coordinate response it necessary, to the Department of Education or any other tribunal. (Mr. Rick Olivares)

CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY; CLOSED MEETING.
A governmental body may not conduct a private consultation with its attorney except: (1) when the governmental body seeks the advice of its attorney about: (A) pending or contemplated litigation; or (B) a settlement offer; or (2) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter.
