A Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Skidmore-Tynan ISD will be held October 8, 2007, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the S-T ISD Event Center Board Room. The regular meeting will be preceded, at 5:30 p.m., with an overview of S-T ISD's FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas), Skidmore-Tynan Independent School District's Rating, and an opportunity for public comments on the report Monday's regular school board meeting will include a campus construction update and tour of the newly remodeled "Old Gym." Improvements to the gymnasium include replacement of the gym floor, conversion of the stage area to storage, and completely remodeled locker rooms.
Action items on the agenda include:
• Consideration and Possible Approval of Revised Superintendent's Evaluation Instrument
• Consideration and Possible Approval of Acceptance of Old Gymnasium Project
• Consideration and Possible Approval of Nomination of a Board of Director for the Bee County Appraisal District
• Consideration and Possible Adoption of Senate Bill 12, Requiring the Board of Trustees of School Districts to Establish a Goal to Reduce Annual Electrical Consumption by 5% each Fiscal Year for Six Years
The next Regular Meeting of the S-TISD Board of Trustees will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2007.
