The Bobcat JV football team kicked off the year with a 18-0 shut out of the Bishop Badgers.The defense was led by (#56) George Garcia’s 3 sacks and a fumble recovery, as well as fumble recoveries by (#10) Douglas Fowler, and (#23) Robert Hernandez. On offense, the Bobcats had 3 touchdowns scored by (#12) Zach Mengers on a 55 yard option keeper, (#1) Derek Boggess 18 yard reception, and (#30) J.D. White 34 yard run. The team’s offensive line, anchored by (#70) Donato Salinas and (#77) Javier Barrientes, set the tempo from the beginning.
