Skidmore-Tynan High School was recently named one of the nation's finest by the weekly news magazine U.S. News & World Report. Of 1,829 Texas high schools, S-THS achieved Bronze Medal status - one of just 151 to be awarded a Bronze Medal or better. Only 32 Texas schools were awarded Silver or Gold medal status. These top schools were placed into gold, silver, bronze, or honorable mention categories."
