Beeville Little League Releases Skidmore-Tynan from Charter
The Beeville Little League board of directors held a special meeting Wednesday to vote to release Skidmore-Tynan from it's charter. The vote passed unanimously. The newly formed "Bobcat Little League" boundary line has been drawn along the line separating Beeville I.S.D. from the Skidmore-Tynan I.S.D. The board also voted to allow children who are affected by the boundary change to choose to continue playing on one or the other side of the boundary line. For example, a child who played for a Beeville team last year, will have the option to continue playing on a Beeville team despite living on the Skidmore-Tynan side of the new boundary line. The option to play across the new boundary line will only be available during the first season of play pending approval of the Little League charter committee.
