Zone 8 Chairman Ann Duggins addresses her fellow Lions.
The Skidmore-Tynan Lions Club and Chisholm Trail Cafe played host to the Lions District 2S-4, Zone 8 meeting Tuesday evening. Guest speaker, Bill Roe of the Bay City Lions, gave an interesting presentation on the Lions Camp for disabled and diabetic children. The camp is located in Kerrville, Texas and operates from May to August of each year. Mr. Roe encouraged each club in attendance to help work towards the goal of sending 2000 children to camp in 2005. Area Lions from Zone 8 and beyond were in attendance including Bay City Lions Bill Roe and Loyd Barr; Beeville Evening Lions John & Pearl Richardson and Leo & Sandra Pruett; Woodsboro Lions Norma Thompson, Olivia Yanez, Karen Linebarger, and Allen & Betty Kucera; and Skidmore-Tynan Lions Dee LeCount, Brittany Luna, David Waishes, Keith Petrus, and Russell & Ann Duggins.
