Like an event straight out of a made-for-TV Christmas Special, Skidmore residents awoke Christmas morning to a winter wonderland. Area children enjoyed a rare opportunity to build a snowman and engage in snowball fights while adults snapped plenty of photos to commemorate the historic event. Unfortunately, the "entire staff" of the Skidmore Signal was stranded in Corpus Christi when the storm hit. We were, however, able to send a photographer back to Skidmore Saturday afternoon.
