S-T Lions Congratulate 2007 Punt, Pass, & Kick Winners

The Skidmore-Tynan Lions thank the many parents who took the time, and braved the heat, to bring their children out to the 17th Annual Punt, Pass, & Kick competition at Bobcat Stadium. This year's event saw a record turn-out with 36 children participating. The results of the competition are presented below. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners at half-time during the October 12 home football game versus Odem.

Thanks to Lions Dee LeCount, Gayle Staples, Buddy Duge, and Santana Lopez who helped with concession sales and registration along with Robyn White and son J.D. White who assisted the coaches in recording scores, and Brenda Henshall who helped with registration. Lions David Waishes, Russell Duggins, and Ann Duggins helped plan and organize the event but were unable to attend. Thanks also to S-T ISD Superintendent Dr. Brett Belmarez, Elementary Principal Emelia Dominguez, and Junior High Principal Dan Garza for help in promoting the event. The Lions extend a very special thanks to coach Adam Arroyo and his excellent coaching staff for volunteering their time year after year.
