Manuel Alaniz Jr. of Skidmore died April 5, 2006 at age 77. Mr. Alaniz was a Korean War Army veteran and a retired employee of the Army Aeronautical Depot Maintenance Center at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Survivors include his wife, Margit; son, Roberto Alaniz of Corpus Christi; brother, Jesse Alaniz; four sisters, Maria Trejo, Dora Adame, Angela Rodriguez and Beatrice Riojas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited April 9th at 6:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi. Services will be held April 10 at 10 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
