Maureen E. Jostes, of Tynan, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the age of 51.Ms. Jostes was born Nov. 1, 1954, in Mathis, to Eunice Hornung Jostes of Tynan and to the late Frank Jostes. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Pharmacy in 1978 and was a pharmacist in San Antonio from 1978-2000 at University and Nix Hospitals and Eckerd Drugs. From 2000-2002 she worked in Mathis, Orange Grove, and Woodsboro.
Survivors include her mother, Eunice Hornung Jostes of Tynan; and two sisters, Betty Jones of Fair Oaks Ranch and Eva Brown of Corpus Christi.
Ms. Jostes was laid to rest in the Three Rivers Cemetery Saturday, April 8, 2006.
