Manuel P. Olivares, of Skidmore, died May 14, 2007, at age 66. He was the owner and operator of a local service station.Mr. Olivares is survived by two sons, Michael Olivares of Edinburg and Orlando Olivares of Skidmore; three daughters, Brenda Cruz of Houston, Belinda Arrisola of Victoria and Raquel Garcia of Beeville; four sisters, Elia Alvarado, Marcela Flores and Yolanda Silvas, all of Beeville, and Anna Castillo of Lubbock; three brothers, Fermin Olivares of Skidmore, Margarito Olivares of Louisiana and Paul Olivares of Beeville; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Olivares was laid to rest in Skidmore's Evergreen Cemetery.
