Storms Soak Bee County
Monday morning view of the Aransas River west of Highway 181.
The storm that briefly knocked out power and water to Skidmore residents caused other minor damage around Skidmore. Pavement collapses in several locations were attributed to the recent installation of public sewer lines. 3 1/2 inches of rain fell over the course of Sunday evening and early Monday morning.
A dead tree, possibly struck by lightning, fell on this truck on East Patricio Street.
Residents checking their mail had to maneuver around a large sinkhole near the post office.
