Two Earthquakes reportedly hit in Northeast Maynmar Thrusday night less than a minute apart. They could be felt as far as Bancock, buildings swayed. No tsunami was generated.
The first quake was 7.0-magnitude and six miles deep, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Followed by another of the same strength, but a reported 140 miles deep.
The earthquakes struck along the Myanmar borders with Thialand and Laos, about 70 miles from the northern city in Thai, Chiang Rai.
