High water?... no longer a problem for Corrigan residents.
The new and improved "Corrigan Pool" bridge was completed on Monday with very little fanfare. The bridge has been in place less than a week and has already proven its merit. With Friday's rains, the Aransas River crested well above the level of the old bridge and by some accounts, came very near to reaching the new one. We're sure residents on the opposite side of the river will not miss the old days of being stranded on the other side of the "low water crossing."
