Bobcats football player Garrett Gonzalez was nominated in this year’s KRIS-TV “Six Sports Play of the Year” online poll. His heads-up steal of a sure interception against Hebbronville in the playoffs is one of the year's Top 10 plays.
Beginning Wedesday, December 8th at 10:00 p.m., fans can begin placing their votes on the KRIS-TV website. Students, parents, teachers, anyone can log on and view the plays 24 hours a day. From the home page, just click on “Sports” and you’ll see the poll. The winner will be announced December 22nd, 2004.
Everyone log onto KRIS TV Sports and cast your vote for Garrett (video clip #9) - then email everybody on your buddy list and tell them to vote too. To vote, look to the right of the first video clip where you'll see a blank for your e-mail address. That will take you to the voting area.
