Online Bookstore Lets You Browse by Cover Art

Caption

One of the best things about visiting a bookstore or library is the ability to browse the aisles - spotting random books that spark your interest. You walk through the door looking for a book on gardening and walk out with the "The Barbecue Bible." Well, someone has taken this concept and applied it to an online bookstore with impressive results. Check out Zoomii.com.

Lion John "Rich" Richardson of the Beeville Evening Lions attended the meeting and announced his intention to transfer into the S-T Lions. Also in attendance were Lions Ann Duggins, President; Russell Duggins, Treasurer; Buddy Duge, Membership Chair; and Keith Petrus, Secretary.

Treasurer Russ Duggins reported a balance of $415.10 in the club administrative account and $949.52 in the project account. Other topics discussed at the meeting included the annual Punt, Pass, & Kick competition, Turkey Shoot, and Pancake Supper.

The next meeting of the Skidmore-Tynan Lions Club is scheduled Wednesday, July 2, 2008.
