The S-T Lion Club will host its annual Punt, Pass and Kick competition for boys and girls ages 7 through 12 years old on September 23rd. The competition will be limited to boys and girls who attend Skidmore-Tynan ISD or are “Home Schooled” and live within the District .As in years past, the Skidmore-Tynan ISD coaches, headed by Athletic Director Adam Arroyo, will pitch in and handle most of the set up and measuring. The competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. in Bobcat Stadium on Saturday, September 23. Participants may register on the morning of the competition.
Trophies to be presented just prior to the “kick-off” of the October 27 football game versus Refugio. Trophies will be presented to the First, Second and Third Place competitors in each age group. All children will be presented with Participation Ribbons on the day of the competition.
Congratulations to last year's 1st place winners: 1st Place Age 7 - Lance Glew, 1st Place Age 8 - Cody Leonard, 1st Place Age 9 - Alex Acosta, 1st Place Age 10 - Brandon East, 1st Place Age 11 - Lucas Glew, and 1st Place Age 12 - Donato Salinas Jr.
