It was a great season, but as they say, "all good things must come to an end." The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcat post-season ended with Friday's 41-7 loss to the Stockdale Brahmas.The Cats held the Brahmas to 14 points in the 1st half of the ball game and it looked like they were about to mount a comeback when QB Darby House suffered an injury to his throwing hand. Limited to a run-only offensive attack, the Bobcats were overpowered in the second half of the game by Stockdale's big and fast defense. That, and a stellar performance by Stockdale QB Michael Soto, proved to be the Bobcats' downfall. The Caller-Times recaps the loss: Soto stuns Skidmore-Tynan.
The Bobcats end the season as Bi-District champs, with a 9-3 record, and are to be congratulated for providing Bobcat fans with another exciting year of High School football.
