Diagram of the new traffic pattern as of March 3rd.
Due to major construction projects in the spring, the front parking area of the Elementary and Junior High campuses will be “off-limits” to everyone as of Monday, March 3rd. There will be no entrance or exit capability through West Walton Street from Highway 181 (street near playground). Beginning Monday, March 3, the following procedures will be followed for our students and families:
Bus-riding students: The busses will drop off (morning) and pick up (afternoon) the students at the back of the school in front of the cafeteria and new gym.
Car-riding students: The teachers will walk the students who are dropped off or picked up by a parent/guardian to the tennis courts located between the Junior High and Papa’s Market. Parents will use the semi-circle driveway (one-way only) located in front of the tennis courts for morning drop-off and afternoon pick up children. Please do not park and leave your vehicle unattended along this semi-circle driveway. There must be a continuous movement of traffic.
S-T ISD administrators appreciate your cooperation as they work to provide organized procedures for the safety of your children. Please keep in mind that these procedures and inconveniences are temporary.

People on Social Security and Veterans incomes, must file a 1040A in order to receive Economic Stimulus Rebates. “Most taxpayers just need to file a 2007 tax return in order to automatically receive the stimulus payment,” said Acting IRS Commissioner Linda Stiff. “But we are especially concerned about recipients of Social Security and veterans’ benefits who may need to take special steps this year to file a tax return in order to obtain a stimulus payment. IRS.gov will help taxpayers get what they need.” For more information and a sample of how to fill out the 1040A, visit:
