Leading the team in batting, Ricky Gutierrez and Zach Petrus were named All-Tourney.
The Bobcat baseball squad traveled to Ingleside Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 6-8, to compete in the annual Mustang baseball tournament. The Cats defeated a tough San Diego squad 5-3 on Thursday to advance in the winners bracket, then fell to Ingleside 3-0 in game two on Friday. Game three saw the Cats matched up against District rival Odem for the 3rd Place trophy. Despite loading the bases in early innings, the Bobcats were unable to score until late in the game after the Owls had built a commanding lead. The Owls prevailed 12-4.
