We Do Like Green Eggs and Ham!

Elementary students listen as NHS member Stephanie Schirmer reads a Dr. Seuss classic.

The Signal can report with some authority that despite their initial shock value, green eggs and ham are indeed just as tasty as normal eggs and ham (although a few children refused to eat them regardless). Members of the S-T National Honor Society spent Saturday morning entertaining elementary students with various "Dr. Suess Day" activities. High School classrooms were transformed into play centers for the event featuring movies, books, and art & crafts related to the writings of Theodor Seuss Geisel. As near as we can tell, everyone involved, both big and small, had a wonderful time.
