The Skidmore-Tynan Ladycat Basketball team improved its District record to 5 and 1 with Friday's win over George West Lady Longhorns. The Ladycats outscored their opponents 39 to 23. Alexis Schmidt led the team with 18 points on the board, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals, followed by Emily Mengers with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists. Ashley Scott is credited with 5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals to help cap off the win over George West. The Ladycats record is 17 and 7 overall.
