The Signal congratulates Skidmore-Tynan's Scott Hale who was recently named to the Academic All-State Football 2A Second Team. Hale was among sixty three local athletes honored by the Texas High School Coaches Association. Also named to the Academic All-State 2A Honorable Mention Team are S-T's Chris Hall, Ben Mengers, and Garrett Vandever. The teams were selected by a point system based on a combination of grade-point average, class rank and SAT or ACT score.
