Congratulations to S-T's Coach Adam Arroyo who, with the help of the Bobcat and Taft coaching staff, led the "East" team to victory in the Saturday, May 19, Shrine Classic All Star Football Game. The East team won 20 - 9 in the game played at Corpus Christi's Miller High School Buccaneer Stadium. "Garrett Vandever made a field goal and an extra point," said Arroyo, adding "all the S-T players did really well." A second Vandever field goal was negated by a "roughing the kicker" call that allowed the team to gain personal-foul yardage and a subsequent touchdown. S-T's John Boscamp was credited with two tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
Also representing Skidmore-Tynan on the playing field were Center/Defensive End Travis Berthold, Offensive Tackle/Defensive End Ben Mengers, and Defensive Tackle David Barrientes.
