The deadline to sign up for a spot on November's S-T ISD school board election ballot came and went August 26th. As of that date, six candidates placed their names in the running.Challengers:

James Bennett
Mattie Hicks
Incumbents:
Ysrael (Rudy) Salinas
Ken Haggard
Rick D. Olivares
Update: Mr. Salinas has removed his name from the ballot.
This year's school board election will be held in conjunction with the general election, November 4th, 2008.
