S-TISD will cancel classes Thursday and Friday, September 11th and 12th. Classes will resume as soon as possible following the passage of Hurricane Ike. School will dismiss at normal time and busses will run on normal schedule on Wednesday. The varsity football game rescheduled to Thursday against Stockdale has been postponed until further notice. S-TISD's Open House originally scheduled for Monday, September 15, 2008 has been rescheduled to Monday, September 22, 2008.
