The Banquete Bulldogs effectively shut down the Bobcat running game Friday in their 38-18 win over the Bobcats. Alex Gonzales put the Cats on the board in 2nd half with an 85 yard kickoff return. Chris Patrova followed Gonzales' lead with a 95 yard return of his own, then pulled in a Rudy Hernandez pass to score a second touchdown for the Cats.

Elsewhere in the District, Taft defeated Bloomington 27-14 and Refugio put the hurt to Odem 42-6.
