The unofficial results of the S-TISD school board election were announced late Tuesday evening. Pending confirmation of the vote totals, challenger James Bennett will join reelected candidates Rick Olivares and Ken Haggard at the board table. Vote totals follow:418 James Bennett

293 Mattie Hicks
247 Karlos Alvarado
The newly elected trustees will be sworn in at the November 17th school board meeting.
