Banquete learned that it's bad luck to disrupt your opponents half-time show in Friday's loss to the Bobcats. The S-T band band was right the middle of Bread's "If" when their Banquete counterparts burst into the fight song. The Bobcats went on to win 14-3 and take the lead in the district standings.

Josh Owen led the Bobcats with an 80-plus yard touchdown reception of a Jordan Haws pass in the 2nd Quarter and capped off scoring with another 80-plus yard touchdown run at the top of the 3rd. Two successful extra points attempts courtesy of the Adam Aguilar helped seal the Bobcat victory.
