Tyler Wallek of the "Hoosier Daddies" knocks one out of the park. It would have been a grand slam if an earlier wild pitch had not allowed a runner to score from 3rd base.
School may be out for summer but that doesn't mean current and former S-T athletes are sitting around doing nothing. Many have signed up for Babe Ruth and adult baseball leagues. The "Hoosier Daddies" are back together, playing a double header Sunday in the Rockport League. Skidmore, Beeville, and George West players ages 13-15 will play in the State Babe Ruth Tournament in Del Rio on the weekend of the 21st.
