Parents may register their children for Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Elementary office from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The following guidelines must be met by those who are registering children for Pre-Kinder:
1. Students who are 4 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2004
2. Students who are unable to speak or comprehend the English language by a home language survey, informal oral inventory, or any adaptation of oral proficiency instruments approved by the commissioner of eduction.
3. Students whose family income is at or below subsistence, as determined by applying the formula used to qualify for free or reduced-priced lunches under the National School Lunch Program.
Students registering for Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2004 and provide the district with the following information:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Immunization Record-Current
3. Copy/Original of Student's Social Security Card
4. Proof of Income in registering for Pre-Kinder
5. Legal guardianship papers if child does not reside with parent(s)
