Catch This Week's Little League All-Star Games.

Richard Torres goes for the ball during Junior All-Star Practice.

All-Star time is upon us and several local Bobcat Little League teams will compete this week for the district title. The Minor Bobcat All-Stars, ages 9-10, suffered a defeat to Woodsboro Saturday but bounced back for a win over Ingleside Sunday in the double-elimination tournament. Manager Tryne Mengers said the team looked sharp in their last game and hopes to fight their way back up through the losers bracket. The Minors will face their next opponent at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Tuleta. The Major All-Stars, managed by Ed Wilson, will face Woodsboro in their tournament opener, also scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, in Woodsboro. The Bobcat Little League Junior All-Stars, managed by Ronnie Petrus, received a bye and will go up against the winner of Taft vs. Refugio Friday, July 2nd in Portland. Good luck to all three teams in their quest for the district title!

Update: Game schedules and locations above may change due to rain outs. Wednesday's Major Boys game has been moved from Woodsboro to George West.
