Saturday a Busy Day for Local Residents

The local School Board Election will take place at the S-T I.S.D. Board Room from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Bring you voter registration card or drivers license to cast a vote for your School Board candidate.

The Ladies Fire Auxiliary will hold a Bake Sale Saturday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Papa's Market. Come on out and support your hard working local volunteer fire department.

Our S-T Varsity Baseball team will be playing Game 2 and hopefully followed by Game 3 in Bishop at 1:00 p.m. The varsity squad fell to Bishop 10-5 in the opening game Friday and will have to win two in a row to advance beyond Bi-District.

The Historic Park Hotel in Tuleta will host the 5th Annual Antique Bottle and Jar Show, Sale and Trade Day Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Park Hotel Antiques Shoppe is located at 8937 N. Highway 181 in Tuleta. The event is hosted by the Three Rivers Bottle Collectors Club and will be held "rain or shine." Entertainment for the event will be provided by the SonShine Girls Ensemble who will perform a variety of folk and gospel selections. The Tuleta Community Improvement Program will also hold a fundraising Bake Sale in conjunction with the event. Call 361-375-2558 for more information.

The Bobcat Little League Junior boys team will play the Sinton Hurricanes on the High School field at 6:00 p.m. Saturday. This will be the first game to be played locally since we chose to inter-league with Sinton Little League.
